Eclipse Module: Cover Cap

The lunisolar differential gears are hidden under a cap, which represents the earth at the center of the dial. In keeping with the color theme of the clock dials, this needs to be titanium anodized blue. This is a moderately complex part with some tight tolerances, but titanium as the material made it a bit more daunting. This is Grade-23, which is very similar to typical Grade 5 6Al4V but is ELI, an offcut I got from medical surplus. It machines very slightly better than Grade 5. However, it ended up fantastic and is on standby for the next anodization round. It is held on by a small 2-56 titanium screw that was machined at the same time.
