Waterjet Cutting

Waterjet cutting pricing is a combination of the following:

  1. A base setup cost of $14 which includes generating G-code*, aligning/prepping the machine, and post-processing.
Need multiple parts cut? Setup is free for the second part on.

  2. A per-inch rate which covers all consumables needed for the cut. This will depend on the complexity of your part, the material, and the thickness. Thicker and tougher materials cut more slowly and lots of cutouts will mean a longer cut distance, so to keep your part quick and cost effective we recommend minimizing those.

*G-code is the basic language that tells the machine what to do move-by-move, and is generated by computer software based on the part geometry, materials, speeds, and numerous other variables.

FDM 3D Printing

FDM 3D printing pricing is a combination of the following:

  1. A base setup cost of $6 which covers file/g-code generation, machine maintenance and post processing.
Need multiple parts printed? If we can fit them in one job that is only one setup cost.

  2. A model cost of $0.15 per gram for ABS or PLA, which covers the material needed to build the models and supports. Additional materials are available by request.

SLA 3D Printing

SLA 3D printing pricing is a combination of the following:

  1. A base setup cost of $8 which covers file/g-code generation, machine maintenance and resin cleaning.
Need multiple parts printed? If we can fit them in one job that is only one setup cost.

  2. A model cost of $0.17 per gram, which covers the material needed to build the models and supports.

Machining

Machining work is costed at a flat rate of $60 per hour, plus material costs. If you send us your design, we are happy to provide time and material estimates for it as well as any recommendations to reduce either of these costs, both free of charge.

Casting

Metal casting pricing is a combination of the following:

  1. A base setup cost of $140 which covers mold making, forge consumables, and post processing.

  2. Material costs, by weight.

Woodworking

Woodworking is costed at a flat rate of $35 per hour, plus material costs. If you send us your design, we are happy to provide time and material estimates for it as well as any recommendations to reduce either of these costs, both free of charge.

CAD Design

CAD/CAM is included free of charge for all other process, but is also available as a stand-alone service or for additional deliverables such as dimensioned drawings, geometric tolerance (GD&T) analysis, model file generation, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and more. For these services we charge a flat rate of $60 per hour.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is charged based on the cut time on the machine, which can vary from a few seconds for a simple profile to several hours for detailed engraving. The rate is set at $30 per hour and includes all set up time. For small parts and quantities we can provide materials, for large or high volume orders material will be added to avoid depleting our stock.
