Eclipse Dials and Spiders

We turn next back to the eclipse module, where the nodal and apsides dials are nearing completion. Both of these dials are rings, so there is a triangular “spider” of aluminum to connect them to their respective tubes. Due to the criticality of keeping the dial face orthogonal to the tube axis, these were both fixtured in the mill when bonding.
