Brightness Knob

The singular visible control on the clock is the brightness knob, which I’ve positioned on the front of the pedestal. The knob itself is a simple aluminum cylinder with an indent, which sits in a black delrin “volcano” fitting. A 10K potentiometer is housed within, which provides an analog voltage back to the arduino. These parts are not necessarily complex, but they are very visible so surface finish is critical. Thankfully, both materials are fairly forgiving in this regard.
