Clock Hands

The hands are (to date) the only place when I’ve procured parts, although only in coarse form. These thin, metallic parts are perfect for a fiber laser that I regrettably do not have myself. The theme I’ve adopted for the dials is brass for anything relating to the sun (so the solar time pointer, equation of time pointer, and sun pointer) and anodize blue titanium for anything to do with the earth (so mean time dials for seconds, minutes, hours). I found the sweet spot for titanium anodizing for a pleasant blue to be 24V.
