Solar Declination Calculator

The final component of the Calculation Module is the solar declination calculator, which takes an input rotation once per tropical year and layers an unequal motion for the Earth’s eccentric orbit and then converts it to a sinusoid. Note that solar declination is not truly sinusoidal, but this is corrected in the sunrise module. The solar declination bracket holds an eccentric bushing on the top half, which can be rotated to adjust the phase.
